Helen Sánchez

Helen Sánchez was born and raised in New York where she grew up in a home rich in art, classical music and literature. Her Colombian born parents, architect dad and opera buff mom, stressed education and creativity.

After attending the Fashion Institute of Technology in NYC, Helen’s journey began in the height of the 1980s as an assistant for renowned designer Norma Kamali, assisting in all phases of design from couture to ready-to-wear. Her love for lingerie began when she started designing intimates for Victoria’s Secret when the company opened its first store. Her roles and responsibilities grew to where, as senior designer, she went on to design for large companies such as Liz Claiborne and Ellen Tracy.

After many years of designing intimates in the corporate world combined with some savings and the sale of her beloved Harley Davidson motorcycle, Helen launched her own luxury intimates brand. Inspired by Old Hollywood and men's tailoring, Helen's pieces are dramatic, elegant, and feminine. The Harley may be gone but the attitude and spirit live on in her collection.
